The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

P.T. Enright, rider of No Looking Back, trained by Oliver McKiernan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the first fence.

S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of The Great Nudie, trained by Colin Bowe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the second last fence.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed B.W. Harvey, rider of Bay City Boy, trained by Thomas Gibney, concerning his failure to pull up his mount when it appeared to have no more to give and tailed off eventually unseating him at the final hurdle. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his mount was green and felt it was more greenness than fatigue that lead to the unseat. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found B.W. Harvey in breach of R.216(ii)and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.

Owing to low lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle six to be omitted for this race.

R.A. Doyle, rider of Grey Balls Of Fire, trained by C.A.Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly impeded at the first hurdle. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted. .

Owing to low lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurlde six to be omitted for this race.

Luke Burke Ott, rider of River Vale, trained by Michael Winters, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a blow in the back straight and got tired turning in.

P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Land Of Punt, trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

D. Robinson, rider of Esticky End, trained by Tom McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a noise.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Square Necker (FR), trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Huntin Boots, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount plunged on the approach to the first hurdle and unseated him.

Owing to low lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle six to be omitted for this race.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident after the second last hurdle involving Baymount, ridden by D.E. Mullins, Diamond Tipp, ridden by Kevin Healy, and Dromana Mist, ridden by Ms A. Power, where Baymount jumped left taking both Diamond Tipp and Dromona Mist off their racing lines. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dunsy Rock, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Kevin Healy, rider of Diamond Tipp, trained by Martin Hassett, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered on landing at the second last hurdle.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Payslip, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Mr D.G. Lavery, rider of Payslip, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

Kevin Healy, rider of Lake Pippaway, trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the closing stages.
